A helping hand to an underfunded rural school

At AFI Corp, we firmly believe that businesses have a crucial role to play in creating a positive impact on society. Our flagship CSR initiative, AFI Cares, embodies our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.

We believe that education is a powerful tool for shaping a brighter future. However, many rural schools in Sri Lanka are underfunded and lack essential equipment for the provision of a good education. That is why our team recently visited Pu/Kalpitiya G. R. C. Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Kalpitiya, where we presented them with a brand-new computer. Technology plays in modern education and we wanted to ensure that the students at Pu/Kalpitiya G. R. C. Tamil Maha Vidyalaya have access to the resources they need to expand their horizons.

We also provided the school with essential stationery items and arranged a delicious and nutritious snack for all the children during our visit.

At AFI Corp, we believe that the true essence of success lies in giving back to society. Our journey with AFI Cares continues and we are excited to embark on more AFI Cares projects to create lasting positive change in communities across Sri Lanka.
